Black Bathing Suit is an opus. I’m so proud of her pushing her songwriting this far. Title is such a red herring, y’all are simply not ready, makes Text Book look like child’s play. May her growth never end, but even if it did, this is life work!

I feel like this album is one that you really have to sit with for a while. It's almost jarring how open and vulnerable it is, and I think the production is the same way. I liked it when I heard it originally after just listening to tracks in order of what I was most looking forward to, but after listening in full, it really clicked for me
