I'm pretty sure this has been said multiple times already, but I wonder if Black Bathing Suits is going to be a TIWMUG-style reflection on her wild teen years. I still see it being an edgier/darker song that's trap-influenced, since it follows the interlude, but I wonder if it'll also be somber and kind of sad in the way TIWMUG is. I've always connected to that song so hard and would love a continuation of those themes

 

What if Black Bathing Suit turns out to be White Dress' trippier, darker and edgier sister? 

 

I have a feeling that If You Lie Down With Me is a new song. Merely based on the fact that the song is separated from the rest of the Barrie songs/UV outtakes which are all placed at the end of the album right before Sweet Carolina. But I'd love a confirmation because the fact that Barrie and Lana may have written a brand new song together fills me with joy.

I don’t know. I don’t think that the idea of wanting to have more privacy is compatible with photoshoots and interviews

not that I even care about her Instagram, but it’s just hard to imagine anything else exciting happening with this now (videos, performances, magazines, TOURS, etc) so there’s a lot less to anticipate and less surprises to look forward to

There is literally nothing lazy about the four emotionally revealing masterpieces she's released so far so I'm not too worried about that.
