Also yeah at the end of the day the unreleased aren’t a huge deal and like idgaf BUT i do understand reviewers points

 

there are 6 songs from 4-8 years ago, and so including them is *a choice* - knowing that, at one point, lanz did not deem them worthy to be put on an album and now boom - they’re on her second album of the year 

 

i’m not saying it’s an issue in any way but i DO understand their view on that

The Lines of Best Fit's review is the best written one so far. Although when I finished the review I certainly expected a higher rating.

i just feel like it’s not worth worrying or getting mad over critics - lanz has a pretty unique style/sound and not everyone’s gonna vibe with it, and that’s ok

I guess I just don't understand what the point of adding "these are older songs" is while writing a review. That's just a cool fact, it doesn't contribute anything to me. If I was a casual listener of Lana and didn't follow her enough to care about leaked material, I would have never been able to pick out exactly which ones were older material, nor do I understand what it really matters for. Just review the music
