Yeah! And what really concerns (and confounds!) me is the lack of empathy for a woman who has SO obviously experienced, at the very least, an emotionally abusive relationship. It makes me wonder what is it about music as a medium in particular that makes it *difficult* to portray these kind of complex experiences without receiving an allegation of “romanticisation” - is it because it’s set to a great beat? Lol

I Can Fly gets shitted on so much. There was a time when I didn't like it either, but my goodness was I wrong. It's so beautiful. The lyrics resonate with me on a personal level. I'm not sure of it would have fit on BB, but I hope Lana makes a new album around the sound of it

Ok I had some time to digest and the leaked version of Thunder is def much stronger imo than the album version. I love the beginning and how vintage it sounds. Also I hate the awful violins in the beginning of the album version. Sounds broken. It is not a bad song but def worse than the demo.
