This played directly after Sweet Carolina and I totally got the Debussy vibes @lanadelrey referenced earlier in the album thread. The piano work on this song just might be my favorite. The theme is sadness and depression turning into something beautiful. she has a double meaning between "blue period" and "blue, period" and it's told by the way she enunciates it.
