Yes, she for sure works super hard writing, recording, and mastering..but it’s not like she’s constantly overworked and going on endless tours and doing mad promo. Her last couple eras have been very ‘let the music do the work’ and aside from a couple of videos, interviews, and photoshoots she really hasn’t had to do much. And she said in October she wasn’t touring so she could focus on writing so I don’t think she even wants to take a break

I agree and as someone who’s also a little artistically active I think it‘s actually stupid to say an artist should take a break to get new ideas. A lot of inspiration comes while working and trying things out, one thing leads to an other.

How do you think the upcoming single will be promoted now that Lana is off socials? I'm guessing LDR village will send out an announcement email the week of release but will Lana post on her honeymoon account? I bet Rob will post something, king of his daughter's promo

I’ve been wondering this as well. Maybe she’d reactivate for a quick second to post and then log off again? Or maybe Ben and Ed would handle it?

i'll never understand why people think lana "needs a break" or even think she'll take a break, she's been working constantly ever since she started music in 2005, she's been recording 100s of songs, performing, & working on her art since then, she also doesn't currently deal with touring & promo like most artists do

 

however, i will say that her grandmother passing away might mean we won't hear from her for a little while, or as often, but that doesn't necessarily mean she isn't writing music, it could be a source of grieving & healing for her

Spilled.

She's alternative artist, not mainstream so don't expect from her "normal" rollout like in pop artists. From other side I want her to short break but if she has ideas and likes working she doesn't need break. If not 5 Points we'd have at least 2 more official released albums.

she 100% should have someone taking care of her social media, like adele literally doesn't even have the password to her socials  she can use honeymoon for personal reasons and just leave @LanaDelRey as a way of announcing and promoting stuff

i think "writing" is what she always does, whenever she is free, it's like her food, her drink, her air to breathe. So i believe for Lana, "making music" isn't just "work" at all, that's why she's not overworking, she's literally enjoying her life while writing (Taylor Swift is an example of that). Just like us listening to Venice Bitch in 10 minutes & it sounds like 3 minutes.

 

She literally stated "I'm not a captain, i'm not a pilot, I write, I WRITE!" in SportCruiser. It could be any form: a song, a poem, a story, even a book, anything, as long as she gets to write them down herself (even the QFTC ofcourse )

this but with album trailer before 1st or lead single  and interview comes with big and beautiful photoshoot with unwatermarked outtakes in UHQ 

Also I think that Honeymoon almost had this perfect album rollout. Title track released in July, lead single /w album cover & tracklist in August  and album & Freak MV in September. 

Well maybe it hadn't got great promotion but.. I can forgive it

Same! I think songwriting is her way to chill and her hobby (which she's soooo good at)
