Make your own expanded/extended version of a LDR album

Just like what it says: how do y'all usually make your own intepreted fake "special" version for a LDR album in your music library? Like putting a few more "bonus tracks" (like unreleased ones for example) in the actual album and then dub them as "extended/expanded/deluxe" album in your collection (while the album might not neccessarily have a "deluxe" status in reality).

 

Like my NFR! (Expanded version), for example: 

 

1. Prelude (Intro) - an audio i made contains excerpts from "NFR trailer" & "Valley of the Dolls" - which goes right into the title track

i dont mess with the official albums unless there's bonus tracks on it or if i wanna rearrange the tracklist.

for example, is this happiness & flipside are put anywhere in its album, but songs like looking for america i keep it as a single but i put it in a playlist with its era's album

i keep the unreleased separate

For me, it's more about reducing than expanding, and I like to rearrange the songs so that the least listened to come at the beginning and the most popular at the end, which makes it more enjoyable to listen to.

I've often reimagined and combined Lana albums in my mind! I'm not sure if it's cheating to use already tracks from other eras / albums and also to remove certain songs, but I do have this one playlist that I like to listen to as a kind of expanded Honeymoon.

I kinda like to think this "album" both begins and ends with anxiety - the strife of 13 Beaches opening and the uncertainty of Young and Beautiful closing - and in between it tells the story of a relationship kinda falling apart, whether that's the narrator's relationship with a lover or with fame. It goes from the cutesy fun stuff of songs like American and Summer Bummer to the real tragedy of songs like God Knows I Tried and The Blackest Day, with a lil White Mustang thrown in there for levity

The only extended version I would make would be a version of Ultraviolence with Is This Happiness and Flipside on the album outside of iTunes and Target exclusives

I read somewhere on here that from a paradise edition of btd video it featured and early version of the Tracklist and this what the track list was (excluding burning desire and Hollywood)

Love this! I know it was repackaged with BTD, but I wish Paradise had a couple more songs. Especially Starry Eyed and Hollywood. I have a Spotify playlist for listening to it with those tracks added

I don't expand, because putting them in between the songs feels weird to me and not all songs fit in the end or the beginning. I just swap tracks for demos or other versions.
