Here's a quick vector I made from your screencap:

omg thank you!

how would I do it with a PNG logo w a transparent background? When I would do image trace, it would just make a white box

I wanted to tell you but forgot sorry - I actually ran into the same issue, and fixed it by going to photoshop, colouring the png in black (assuming you know how to do that because my English is failing me tonight apologies :toofunny:), saving it as black, and only then vectorising it. Also - for me the best vectorisation is always from the "sketch" option, if that helps; it also removes the white part.

Just checked the translation, it's colour overlay indeed :) You know, when you double click on the layer, and you have all the bevel options etc, there also is colour overlay in the menu, it's this one that you have to choose. Yes, the vector is in Illustrator!

can someone explain to me how to make text look like this? it has such a specific kind of glow, never mind those lines to create a sense of motion. Outer/Inner glow on Adobe stuff never quite gets it right (it is very possible that idk how to do it right)

I don’t believe it’s a font effect (though you may be able to replicate it with one). Looks like a custom object.

Even for me, life had its gleams of sunshine.

oh yeah I know it's not part of any font. sorry, I worded that wrong lmfao cause I know you'd make the font an object (create outlines) but idk how to make objects have that kind of motion and glow

If I were you, I’d (with the isolated lines) lower the fill, add motion blur and play with outer glow and gradient overlay

i’m begging, pleading even

where the hell can i find packaging die line templates for FREE? without attribution (it’s for an assignment but it morally feels wrong just taking a template that requires attribution and then not doing it)
