I know I shouldn’t care about Grammys and other awards or critical success, her music is amazing regardless if other people want to recognize it or not. But I really need Lana to hit a grand slam with this one and shut all the haters up.

 

I was watching a Tik Tok, and the video asked “which musical artist is mostly marketing and not about the music”. And multiple people in the comments were saying Lana Del Rey. So I commented on one, saying Lana barely does any promotion, barely does interviews and rarely shows up at industry events, and we’re lucky if we get one TV performance or one professional quality video per album cycle. And this girl makes an entire video response to my comment mocking me for liking Lana and chastising me like, “oh honey you don’t understand how marketing works. You think you like her because you like her music, but actually you only like her because she was marketed to you and you fell for the marketing”. As if I am some mindless robot with no ability to discern what I like and what I don’t like for myself.

 

Lana works tirelessly, she is one of the hardest working people in the industry and she releases masterpiece after masterpiece almost every year. I’m so tired of this narrative that she is an industry plant. People have been doing the most to smear her reputation since the day that Video Games dropped. Of all of the generic and talentless pop tarts making Disney pop music, why is Lana the one that gets targeted? Like I cannot comprehend why so many people get triggered by Lana when her talent is completely obvious and evident to anyone who actually listened to her music. 
 

I seriously need Lana to just write and sing her heart and soul out on this next album so she can finally get all the praise and take home the AOTY Grammy she deserves. I just want all these haters to feel stupid that they ever questioned her talent and finally STFU about Lana forever.

lana’s critics are so stupid, the comment about you not actually being a fan, but only listening to her because of “marketing” is so, so weird & stupid, if lana still had a focus on marketing, she’d still be making born to die-esque music but way more soulless & commercial, & she wouldn’t be allowed to drop singles randomly with picsart selfie covers, they make it sound like you were brainwashed by lana’s team instead of just deciding you like the music  & the people who claim she’s a plant only think so because she made a homemade music video while under a record label, i truly believe she didn’t have the funds at the time to make a professional video, she’s always made these types of videos & she still makes them TO THIS DAY, also the stuff about the lip injections, different appearance, etc. honestly i think a lot of it is misogyny, if she were a man all of these pretentious artsy critics would be creaming their jeans over her

 

regardless, i think lana should just do what she wants to do, obviously, i want her to put effort into her albums, & i can only hope she’ll switch things up for this album, but she shouldn’t feel the need to prove anything to anybody, a lot of the criticism thrown at her was unfair, even if she’s made mistakes, people still give her shit for her feminism comment in 2014, even though it was nearly a decade ago & the social climate was much different, lana’s not even that problematic compared to other celebrities but people act as if she’s a murderer, she’s undoubtedly human, but she’s a fantastic artist who has touched the hearts of millions who tries her best everyday, whether people like it or not

dude.....ayahuasca is like the nuclear option for psychedelics/trauma healing/ sobriety work... like almost any other therapy/spiritual practice/mind altering substance  should be tried first... yes it can be profound but that goes both ways... it's so funny to me to watch normies get into psychedelics like you see yoga moms now talking about their inner childs and psychedelic retreats....omg maybe this will extend to churchome in a few years and lana and her pals will do ayahuasha and we will get an intense psychedelic album.....the potential serve that would be......or America's Sweetheart level mess flop...
