They’re new here. We’ll see if they come through. fl0r1daskil0s called them a liar on multiples occasions. So we’ll see. He talked about a FJM collab and the sound of the album. If their description of the album is true, LDR9 could be one of my faves from her. They also said that DNC would be out in July 🤷🏼

I think an fjm collab and having a sound similar to buddy’s rendezvous is actually pretty similar to how I think Lana described the album

With Drew involved, it’s not that far of a reach indeed that the album could sound like Buddy’s RV.and I’d die for another FJM collab.
DragonWhore also said that the feeling of the album was beachy, hazy, lazy, orchestral but with a looming menace underneath it all, trippy (I think?), like a mix of WFWF, MaC and VB. And he also said that there were some bombastic songs on it. It almost seems too good to be true, but the orchestral part was confirmed by Lana in the W interview, so 🤷🏼

Can somebody tell me what Miss DragonWhore spilled so far? Apparently I missed everything they said. :sideeye:

There you go, hun :kiss3:

Thanks legend  It really sounds interesting. Almost like she would hear some of our wishes. I lowkey learnt my lesson and won’t fall for it though. We’ll see when everything’s out.

@takemetothegasstation - thank you too, legend :hoe:

Sort of, they were right about the W mag photoshoot tho.

That was @cruelworld420, unless you meant the overall vibe. They did say "cold foggy Northern California beach vibes." a couple weeks before the photoshoot, which would match with the photoshoot.

I wish we had some sort of concrete time frame for an announcement, it seemed pointless to do the magazine shoot and the Gucci event only to go completely silent:smile4:

:thumb2: Lana has always been like this. She's done magazines plenty of times with no music coming soon, and the Gucci event seemed more like something fun for her to do and not necessarily promo related. The only 100% concrete info we have is Ben's comment saying music incoming and music soon. But even that can mean 6 months. :shh:

Maybe they are waiting for the album date to be closer. If the album is scheduled for example for September-October they would want to start releasing things mid July so it doesn't feel like an eternity between lead and album (LFL and NFR flashbacks).

I wish she would follow the Honeymoon formula for this album too. One song with not much promo in July, the real lead single in August and then the album in September with another single :icant:

HM’s rollout for a dream. LFL wasn’t so bad, when we think of it (all happened in the span of five months, which is pretty standard in the industry, maybe a bit long though) except for the fact that she finally gave a release date at the end of May when we already had three singles… but there were a lot of interviews and photoshoots during those five months. NFR, however… god how painful it was! Radio silence on her part, almost no interview and when she did, it was for her Gucci collab or to talk about Violet :toofunny:

Okay so basically, let us connect all the dots again:

her re-creating that similar fiily/the greatest mv look at Variety (Decade Award) - Norman Fucking Rockwell reference (& plus that Jack Antonoff pressence)

her mentioning "trailer park" Lizzy Grant days in her Decade speech - Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant reference

her serving "God Knows I Tried" a capella in that Ultraviolence church à la embodying heavily Honeymoon era glam (& mentioning "Swan Song" on W mag)

her dancing to SS & SS remix on her trip to Portofino, Italy - Born to Die reference

her wearing flannel & being with yeehaw friends all the time - Chemtrails Over the Country Club reference

her talking about stars alligning / astrology / reposting that Lust for Life trailer, wearing that black dress

the 2013 glam pops out here & there sometimes - Paradise reference

her being all about friends, family & wanting to make a "conversational" / "wordy" type of album - Blue Banisters reference (&plus Rob Grant being involved)

And she said she wanted to make an album trailer by every other album trailers on that livestream.

I don't know what we are getting but we are getting something REALLY ICONIC gorls.
