Now seriously, what is happening this time. How is she so secretive about this record?

This is the same Lana who spoiled half an album through instagram videos and announced 2 projects multiple times with different titles and dates 

 

I prefer it this way though... but I'm scared that the album is far away (but I'll hold on to hope that the rollout is imminent)

I think maybe July could be a good time to launch the era. Anyways, she hasn’t even posted or commented about the recent US events (I wonder if she’ll do) and I don’t expect anything related to the new album in the following days (would Lana news be good escapism at the moment? Hell yeah! But would it be a good idea? Not sure if she wants to avoid backlash)

I feel she's either going all out with this era or getting even more lowkey.

Her remarks about BB (one take songs, loving MV where nothing happens...) and the W Magazine description make me thing think it's the latter but at the same time I feel like she's preparing something big (for her standards of course).

She's so unpredictable and even more when she hasn't revealed anything yet

When she finally posts a snippet or there is a lead, I’ll either :

a) collapse and totally lose my shit because it sounds so insanely good;

b) ask myself if I’ll end up loving this project. BB took me some time to process, when she released the three singles: I loved BB right from the start, but the RCS post had me thinking she would release summery tracks and well, none of them are. I don’t have much expectations for LDR9, except that I’d want a bigger sound (Buddy’s RV has been on repeat since it got released and anything like that would be a dream, or anything channeling FIILY or Venice Bitch)

I think this project will end up being the latter, her talk of automatic singing makes me think she'll be taking a different approach, but she's also terrible at describing her own music so we'll see.
