but she's still only #87 in the world and there are more Spotify listeners today than three years ago, so I don't know if that absolute number means anything ...

Monthly listeners can be deceiving since it mostly depends on in how many playlists an artist is.

Yeah you are right I didn't think about that  but her daily streams are also higher than ever (except around the album releases when they obviously spike) so I find her "resurgence" (even though she never left) still impressive

Definetly... Doja has almost 55M and had less streams than Lana with 30M.

There are also a lot of artists with 40M+ because they have a hit currently but majority of those listeners are only streaming that particular song and just by doing that once it adds up to the counter
