I truly don't understand what those other reasons she mentions would be coming from Marina. Isn't this the manager that prompted her to think of something creative like Froot of the Month? What could have prompted her to fire her (assuming that she did--although it seems likely with David saying she manages her)? 

 

I really hope Marina responds to this in some manner. Jess makes the move seems callous, which is disheartening to hear.

Wow that's unexpected. I actually liked their relationship but then I remember how she wouldn't let Marina play the songs she wanted during the Q&A livestream. Maybe she was part of the reason L+F's direction and promotion was lazy so in that sense, good.
