How does everyone feel about starting this weekend on Sunday? It's not a long book, so I don't expect this one to take us too, too long. We can start it on Sunday, if everyone thinks they can find the book by then, and the first discussion can start the following sunday! If you all need more time to get the book, we can wait another week, I wanna be sure everyone has time to get the book or find it and be able to start it

Omg y'all are about to actually read Lolita. Spoiler alert: Lana did not read this book very well! She definitely missed the point... most likely cuz that perv Mr. Campbell was a pedo and taught it to her wrong. Song's still dope, though.

 

Actually, thinking about Nabokov and his intentions here ... the whole thing is a linguistic parody of the moral corruption of American "freedom" and "aesthetic values". Basically the anti-B2D.
