LanaBoards x LDR Village: Born to Design Contest

The fans have spoken, and LDR Village is listening... and is now looking for YOU fans from LanaBoards to help design new merchandise to be sold on Lana Del Rey's official merchandise retailer, LDRVillage.com!

In our partnership with LDR Village, they have reached out to us find talented LanaBoards members who are interested in entering the Born to Design merchandise contest for a chance to have their art featured on official LDR merchandise and win prizes.

There will be multiple rounds, and 3 winners for each album from each round.

Round One of submissions will be for the albums Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and NFR, and are live now until 11:00pm PST on October 14th, 2022.

Please submit your entries to borntodesign@ldrvillage.com and feel free to share your submissions in this thread! We look forward to seeing all of your submissions, and wish you all luck on having your design featured on exclusive LDR Village merchandise!

 

Prizes:

- Artwork featured on LDRVillage merchandise

- $250 cash prize

- $250 LDRVillage gift certificate

- Mention on LDRVillage socials

 

Rules & Guidelines:

- All artwork must be original and cannot contain any LDR photography or copyrighted material.

- Save your artwork in a low-res and hi-res (300 resolution) format

- File formats accepted: JPEG, PNG AI

- Please be sure that your initial submission is no larger than 25MB

- Contest winners will be chosen based on originality by the LDR Village team. There will be multiple rounds of the Born to Design contest.

- Please submit your Round One designs to borntodesign@LDRVillage.com by 11:00pm PST on October 14th, 2022

 

Reasons for rejected submissions:

- Copyright infringement or duplicate submission

- Artwork has offensive or inappropriate content

- Submission file damaged

- Photography of LDR used in design (can illustrate LDR, but cannot use licensed photos)

This is actually something that we’ve been discussing and organising for over a year now, and now that all the legal logistics have been settled, I’m so excited to finally announce this to you all! x

Are you allowed to submit more than one design per album if you have enough ideas

?

Because I have lots of ideas but whether I have time to actually make them is another matter

Submit as many designs as you'd like! Just do not submit the same submission more than once x

I’m not an artist, but I had a question about this. If someone wins, does LDRVillage obtain sole property over the submitted art? As in, if an artist’s piece gets selected, does the artist relinquish all rights making LDRVillage the sole owner and profiter of merchandise?
