yeah ... i was trusting her but idk about the pastor one tbh, maybe if it was like 2 minutes it would be cool but almost 5 minutes of nothing is a very weird choice. I'm hoping Candy Necklace goes into the Jon Batiste interlude nicely and it's like an outtro to that, would make more sense than the noise that it is

It has grown on me. Like a cute song from a musical. But when you listen to the tracks in sequence, the production level on that track is pathetic compared to the tracks around it. Sounds soo cheap and unimaginative, and the piano sounds basic af. Thanks, Drew!

This album just feels so fresh for Lana, after the last two albums it's like a new breath

It's a massive improvement over Blue Banisters for sure. 

 

But (and I do feel like I'm going to get killed for saying this): Chemtrails was a lot more cohesive thematically and sonically.

 

Ocean Boulevard feels like if Lust for Life and Honeymoon had a baby.
