they stopped sharing things via email/cloud/etc. is my guess. there's a reason Taylor Swift and Madonna (after RH) turned to hand-delivered physical copies on hard drives for their music to prevent leaks

I think leaks are inevitable once physical copies start getting shipped around. But that's usually pretty expected at this point I think.
