No one is letting reviews dictate their opinions on the music, it’s just interesting to see what others, especially influential critics, have to say about an album we like? Why is that bad

I agree with the reasons he doesn’t like fishtail, it does sohnd unfinished and also I feel like it feels out of place with even the more boppish tracks lol… it sounds like a laptop demo from lust for life era. But tbh I still kind of like it😭

Anyways, Fishtail is fantastic to me, but I understand people's criticism towards it. It really is such an improvement on Tulsa Jesus Freak/Black Bathing Suit imo.

I do think we should email Metacritic and ask them to add those reviews that are missing, those are very good scores, we could go back to 82 or a bit higher to 83

I mean maybe this is not ethical to say

but I feel like we could create a bot that would send automated emails to Metacritic so that they are more likely to notice. Like not to a spamming level, but just maybe 1 a day or so? Corporate inboxes, espc distribution ones, are a mess.

Ocean Blvd having the same score as COCC doesn't sit right with me.
