I’m kinda disappointed that the album leaked early and then we got all these other leaks this week. This album deserves better than for this thread to be lowkey kinda dead.

Maybe bcs half of the album is kinda inaccessible and doesn’t have replay value unless you wanna torture yourself with trauma dumping (although it remains beautiful)

 

Or that A&W was the most innovative and best song but we already received it in February so the hype for it on album release date wasn’t strong.

I haven't listened to the album in a couple of days and just listened again and it sounds so much better omg idk if it's because I just gave the album a bit of rest or if the mastering being fixed made it sound better (cause last time I listened the audio still wasn't updated on my phone lol) but this is lovely girl

The censoring of "mother" on Fingertips really grew on me. The fact that she intentionally took that word out makes that line even more devastating.

Fingertips is giving Björk circa Vespertine. It’s also become my currently favourite song off of the new album. A career highlight (well, Ocean Blvd has plenty of them anyway!).

Yes, Phoenix is credited. I wonder if Sam Dew only helped to write the song and somehow got miscredited as background vocals. Even with Dolby Atmos stems I didn't notice his vocals.

Could it be at 10:35, there's someone talking on the left channel but it would be so random to credit him over that. Maybe it was an inside joke. He talked while they were recording and they credited him.
