Did the same on Sunday with the grants and kintsugi. It was honestly a very spiritual experience. It was while I was going for a walk and I saw a cardinal and just broke down lol. This has become a healing album for me which NFR kinda was too but not to the transcendental level of this album.

I still am so shocked that there weren’t massive thinkpieces written about the grandfather lyrics like

 

if she released a song with those lyrics on COCC it would have been OVER for her  

 

This isn’t me saying that they are bad or offensive or anything but they are basically the song equivalent of what she tried to say on QFTC and that follow up video so it’s just funny to see how fickle public opinion can be

I think I listen to almost every song equally, however... the songs I listen to the least:

 

- Candy Necklace (I don't like the tempo change where her voice is off tempo)

- Fingertips (Too dense... Have to be in the right mood)

- Margaret (I don't like Jack's voice, I don't like the spoken part in the bridge)

- Sweet (Not my favorite)

- A&W (I prefer the first part)

Honestly I like most of the songs, but I just don’t find myself going back to the album besides A&W, Peppers, and Taco Truck. Tbh I think this is going to be an album that a year or so from now will finally click with me lol. I have just now been able to start to appreciate Chemtrails for what it is (though I do still think the second half drags), and I only like BB less as time goes on, but this album I do think I could start to really like.
