i think kintsugi and fingertips are far down on my list not bc they're bad, but bc they're so personal that they have almost no replay value to me lol. 

 

i feel like they've both helped me understand more of lana as a person, but it feels like reading her diary and it's not relatable (bc it's not meant to). like, those aren't songs that you listen to for fun

one thing that's fun about taco truck x vb is in lots of lana's early unreleased tracks she would recycle pieces of other songs to craft something new and its like she's still doing that. i honestly wouldn't mind her doing more of that in the future. like every time the song transitions into the venice bitch part i start to cry bc its so sentimental.

I love the little oxymoron in "fallible deity". To be both imperfect and both sacred; or in a different way of reading it, she's saying that she was made divine and scared through error, which again, goes against what a "deity" literally is. It's just such a wonderful use of language.

I understand this completely. Some/most of OC sounds like it was made predominantly for Lana and her family.

 

I was listening to ‘Cult  Leader,’ ‘Dragon Slayer,’ ‘Unidentified Flying Bill,’ and ‘French Restaurant’ earlier today, and had to admit to myself that I enjoyed all of them more than than I enjoy all the OC tracks except ‘LTLI.’
