The Wait for Life melody sample in Sweet amazed me. That's one of my favourite melodies, and I'm glad she held onto it and gave it a nod in this song. Delicate, sweet, beautiful, a classic Lana ballad track.

Now onto the iconic A&W that I've already listened to 120 times this year already, but still hasn't gotten old.. x

I never noticed in Ocean Blvd and during the entire first half of A&W, the beat underneath everything, it's super subtle and quiet, it's like a very quiet base/kickdrum sound that picks up during the last part of AW before Jimmy starts

There truly are not enough words that can accurately describe the complex beauty of this album. I'll have to post a full length review later, but for now, I just truly cannot explain how much I love this album. It's my favorite Lana album to date. She has truly outdone herself in my opinion. Here's my current ranking:

1. Grandfather

2. Candy Necklace

3. Let The Light In

4. Fingertips

5. Taco Truck x VB

6. A&W

7. Fishtail

8. Kintsugi

9. Ocean Blvd

10. Peppers

11. The Grants

12. Paris, Texas

13. Margaret

14. Sweet

15. Jon Batiste Interlude

16. Judah Smith Interlude

This is my first time listening to Candy Necklace and it’s absolutely breathtaking.  :wowcry: Makes me even more excited for the music video coming soon.

Just when naysayers believed there would be no visuals, Lana surprises us again
