When I was younger I remember thinking, “If my siblings can’t come with me, I’m not going anywhere. I have to do whatever it takes to make sure that they thrive."

 

this part was so sweet but also depressing, considering that she was sent away to boarding school and forced to leave them behind at only 15 a gatekeeper dropping the keys.... damn.
