Unpopular Lana Opinions

The lyric is typical Lana. What’s wrong with it? She’s written similar lyrics. Fuck It I Love You? What’s the issue now? I really don’t get it.

well, maybe you should go a few pages back and read the post where i explained what felt, if not wrong, not totally right with that line in my opinion. mention of sex without violence, like in fuck it i love you, and mention of sex with violence, which had not happened since ultraviolence, are not the same thing at all.

I think she used this line and not e.g. "love me to death" like in the clean radio version, because it sounds more dramatic and expresses better in what desperate situation she is. But maybe we'll understand it better if the rest of the album is revealed.

i’m not sure if this is unpopular but 13 beaches would’ve been better on nfr and the next best american record would’ve been better on lfl :true:

i don’t necessarily agree with you about 13 beaches being better on NFR but i do think often about how Tomorrow Never Came and BPBP would’ve enhanced the sonic landscape of NFR a lot better than they do LFL and would’ve complimented songs like MAC, Love Song, How to Disappear, California, and HIAB very well

I don’t listen to much of Lana’s unreleased music..

I adore a handful of them (I Talk To Jesus, Tired Of Singing The Blues, the demos for LFL and BP, etc.), but past that, I don’t listen to many others.

I don’t find the others bad, really—just not my preference musically, I guess.

I kind of agree about 13B, it sounds a lot like Cinnamon Girl now that I think about it. Could easily fit on NFR.

okay actually woah i take back what I said about not agreeing with 13 Beaches being a good fit on NFR… i just listened to the album with 13 Beaches thrown in and it actually makes the album more cohesive in a weird way, it blends in nicely with the Jack tracks and gives more context to songs like Doin Time and TNBAR and even California that kind of sound out of place with everything else on the original track listing, and it makes the whole album work a little better. this is the only way i’ll be listening to NFR from now :true: thank you

i totally felt this. i do listen to some of her unreleased like queen of disaster, meet me in the pale moonlight, party girl (st tropez), etc. it’s only on occasion and part of it is because i have to go on youtube (however, i listen to aka on youtube regularly). and i so agree, i definitely don’t think any of her unreleased songs are bad, in fact i wish most of them made it onto her albums, but i just don’t listen to them a lot.

idk if this is unpopular, but beautiful people beautiful problems is one of the best songs on lfl. the following opinion is probably unpopular, but compare to her other albums, lfl is ranked pretty low (it’s not a bad album at all, but i would rank it last in comparison to all her other albums). i’m going to enrage a lot of lfl stans..

I posted about my BPBP (album version) appreciation a few times. It seems like a lot more fans are coming around to finally appreciating the album version, and that makes me happy. Such a 180° from the demo and I so appreciate the message she wanted to convey with the album version. <3

hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it is one of her greatest songs to date

I asked Asmodeus (the demon of lust) to make Miley Cyrus suffer. I am not happy with these new developments. After Miley rips off Lana's aesthetic, she bullies Lana into changing her release date. It is infuriating.

this song deserves way more credit- the lyrics, the rhythm, the way she sings, etc. so beautiful, a fucking masterpiece, truly.
