I don't think Honeymoon is a 'honeysnooze'. I think it's really pretty and relaxing. The songs are slow but when you're in the right mood, it's perfect.

I've kinda come to the conclusion that from this point onwards her music will never be as good as it once was, like there may be a few songs here and there that are stellar but her peak came and went long ago, if for no other reason than her voice is only weakening with age (and lack of training, proper technique, smoking). Her widening vibrato (which I first noticed around the time of Big Eyes) is a clear indication of the lack of vocal control older singers get, and she was never particularly gifted vocally to begin with.

 

Basically I really wish she got proper vocal training from the start, she is a good singer but she's still such an amateur in so many respects
