Solar Power is Lorde's Chemtrails. It is too minimalist for me and uninspired. Both are by no means bad albums but compared to the previous releases it's rather weak. I will still listen to it and enjoy it but it will have no impact on my life and neither will it have an impact on Lorde's career. Just like Chemtrails came and went so will Solar Power. Jack needs to take a break and come back when he can produce something as amazing as NFR and Folklore.

Okay I find "Dominoes" incredibly irritating but IDK why I can't stop listening to it. Have had it on all day at work on repeat. It scratches an itch in the worst-best-way possible.

Dominoes is probably the catchiest song on the album omg I hate how catchy it is

@expandableclitoris yes but switch the first and last. Fallen Fruit would make a great opener I feel...with some really eery cool intro visuals on the big screen. And SP as an encore/closer.

I don’t know. It makes sense, since she’s been on hiatus for four years. As for a second part to SP, I like SP but don’t love it. If she releases a part two to it, it will raise (at least for me) the inevitable question: why not release hell of an album instead of two iffy parts?
