i mean, taylor has become uber popular recently. like her fandom has multiplied in size and it was already HUGE. she’s a tiktok darling, red tv was a massive hit and so was folklore. it was inevitable that a properly marketed original album was going to pull giant numbers

It's the catchiness of the songs that caught me after a few album plays. idk she must have put some kind of drugs in it. In some songs like Labyrinth her voice is similar to Lana's, maybe that helped too.

need to pay more attention to the deluxe tracks tho, been too into the standard since its release but the couple times i've heard the bonus tracks it's been great as well, they all seemed to click almost faster than the main album

just saw a theory on tiktok about how we have 4 re-records left before tour, and one of the lines in sparks fly being ‘drop everything now’….. i can definitely see this happening. but i also think she wants to give 1989 and reputation proper treatment so idk

The opening acts for the tour each have a colour/symbol that corresponds with an album. For example: Paramore, beige with a leaf -> evermore. Gracie Abrams, grey piano -> reputation. 

Therefore I think that the two opening acts at every date represent the albums included in the set list that night (+ midnights songs at every show). 

 

This theory means that: 

Night 1 is evermore + Speak Now.

Night 2 is Lover + Speak Now.

Nights 3-8 are Lover + reputation.

Nights 9-14 are folklore + Speak Now. 

Night 15 is folklore + reputation.

Nights 16-21 are Red + Fearless.

Nights 22-24 are 1989 + reputation.

Nights 25 and 26 are debut and reputation.

Night 27 is debut and Fearless (this would be such a cute show)

Night 28 is debut and Speak Now.

i'm hesitant cus i kinda saw her differently as an artist, how she's known as some kind of victim bully, but karma's catchy, alexa stream antihero. for the more seasoned fans, an unbiased opinion, is her snark justified, and the way she does that/ history of doing so. it's conflicting

There's no way they'd be rehearsing that many songs across her entire discography. It's going to be a consistent setlist like Rep with a 'secret' song every night probably.

I also don't see this happening because she definitely wants each album to go #1 with the lead at #1, especially Speak Now with Enchanted TV. She knows what she's doing. Red TV set the standard for the future releases.
