What Songs Grew On You?

Recommended Posts

There are quite of a few songs that I could put under this topic, but my main ones are "Breaking My Heart" and "Beautiful Player." They were really cheesy at first, still are, but luv 'em :hooker: . I still don't like  "Lucky Ones" and I'm glad a lot of people on here feel the same.

I disliked most of BTD songs actually, I only liked Born to Die, Blue Jeans and SS. But that was because I hadn't heard any other song from her, aside from Video Games (which I didn't like at first).

I hated DMD, OTTR, Carmen, and Lolita. God, I hated Lolita so much but I guess it grew on me and now I like every single BTD track.

Also hated Yayo, but now I'm quite fond of it.

Not a very big fan of her past albums though. :smokes3:

Born to Die (the song) when i first started hearing Lana, i found the instrumental too depressing :pft:

And the Paradise EP (American only stood out for me)

Now i like all of her songs except Noir and Moi Je Joue (this song is creepy)

I think Noir really grew on me... at first I thought what a horrible song. But one winternight I heard it during a walk with my dog and it was just an amazing experience. She sounds so vulnerable and raw. She expresses so much anger and despair it's truly amazing.

I originally disliked "Bel Air," but it is now one of my favorites of hers. I just could not understand the texture of it, not to metion what she was saying, when i first heard it, so that lead to my inability to completely fall for it like I wanted to.
