I feel that Lana is doing this album a lot more for her fans and the music itself than sales.

 

Plus, good sales ≠ good quality. She could sell 1 copy of the album and it could still be a masterpiece. It's quality, not quantity, that truly matters.

Good marketing + good album = Huge sales and acclaim. (Awards, the Grammys, etc the world take notice)

 

Bad marketing + good album = acclaim from fans circle and nothing else (no awards and no one curr outside of her fans)

Just because I want Lana to be successful I don't "care" about the music lmao. I love the music that's why I want it to do good. It feels good to know something you like its doing good on the charts. I don't see anything wrong with that.

No only a certain group of artists have Grammys.

 

I don't take them that seriously, but the truth is the GP took them very seriously.

 

Not all successful artists have Grammys. If you suck, you're not going to get a Grammy.

 

 

Many flops have Grammys too as long as the Grammy committee favors them. Also, just because your album is acclaimed on some blog like rolling stone or pitchfork.,.... Doesn't mean you're going to get a Grammy.

 

 

They are very much political for sure. They have to favor you.
