daymler 1 Posted January 14, 2014 Hi everybody !! First sorry for my English, I'm from Bulgaria. So...I wanna make this collage for Lana's EP Paradise, but I can't find the image of The Garden Of Eden, that's on the inside of the Born To Die Paradise Edition Box Set. It's very beautiful and I need it in high resolution, but Google can find it. So I decided to start a topic here, so if someone have the box set would scan it for me, or give me link if he/she find it somewhere. It will mean the world for me!! Thanks in advance !!
trayertrash 7,196 Posted January 14, 2014 I know it was The Temptation in the Garden of Eden by Jan the Elder Brueghel. As for a high resolution photo, I don't think you're really going to find one since the painting is like 400 years old

Amadeus 11,283 Posted July 8, 2020 btw it's not by Jan Brueghel the Elder, it's by Jan Brueghel the Younger, the french title is "Le Paradis terrestre avec la Création d'Ève" (Earthly Paradise/Garden of Eden with the Creation of Eve), painted between 1630 and 1640, it's 48,5 cm x 37 cm and displayed at the Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie in Besançon which acquired it in 1855. might be interesting for anyone who lives nearby. here's an overview on the website of the French Ministry of Culture: https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/joconde/M0332001005
