hm I googled it and someone said: in "Happiness Is A Butterfly, “Laurel down to sunset in the truck, I’ll pick you up...”Laurel is a cross street VERY close to Delilah, and while it’s on SMB, not Sunset, my money is still on this part of the poem being about the same guy she’s singing about in HIAB.

Maybe! Perhaps he was the ~bartender~ there. The poem seemed the be written during the ending months of their relationship. In May 2019 they were pictured together, and then the next month she celebrated her friend’s birthday party at Delilah. Though, her and Chase broke up for good sometime during July - September 2019. Not saying it’s necessarily correlated, but definitely interesting to note x

Okay so I did a little research (stalking) about Aaron and I thought I’d look on lanas personal Facebook (is it confirmed it’s hers idk) and she is friends with two Greenes a Chris and Ivan greene. Do we think maybe they are something to do with him? Idk I’m just trying to peace together who Aaron is and if he is actually K

I did some snooping too! Chris is Aaron's brother - I found their mom on Facebook and she has a photo of Aaron from a golf tournament they do every year in his name. <3

Tbh after reading up & hearing fingertips I do have to agree with the sentiment that Aaron is K especially if we consider songs from that era like Junky Pride..pure theory but I wouldn’t be surprised if he had rejected her at first then gave in? Or her songs being her fantasy of what could’ve been if he had said yes & hadn’t been involved in the drive by

my theory is that k was lana's childhood friend, most likely her neighbour, not much older. she probably grew up with him, at a certain age started developing a crush on him. he was probably her first "love".

 

him being of course problematic, "chasing for that paper", abusing drugs, committing crimes and in general being a bad influence on her during their teenage years (pre-boarding school).

 

pt. 1 to me reads as if the police arrived to arrest him at his place, lana being his neighbour could hear the sirens from her room. she most likely never got the chance to see him again after they took him.

 

she probably had many questions, "what did he do?", "why did he do it?". he was a "nice guy", he was her friend, her first love, why did he leave her?

 

she keeps asking him "is this what you wished...?", questions she never got to make him directly and never got the answers to. imagine then hearing through the news that your childhood friend and first love was found guilty for double homicide and later sent on to death row.

Theory for who Jim and Bill are

 

I do think Lana uses these names for multiple people but I believe the OG versions of Jim and Bill are Mikey Martin (Jim) and Rob Dubuss (Bill)

In a 2006 post by someone named Dalene, she claims that Mikey Martin is an extremely abusive person who has relations with Lizzy Grant... obviously it lines up with abuse Lana said she has faced by someone named Jim (Ultraviolence, Beauty Player, Hundred Dollar Bill, Smarty, etc.)

TO THE BEAT recording studios and all the other music producers up on the seventh floor of the Film Center Building in New York City knew about this situation but did nothing. They advocate the sexual abuse and exploitation of underage kids (and also the sexual exploitation and abuse of women who are aged 18 to 25) up on that seventh floor! They sell drugs out of the recording studios up there, and a company called PROGRESSIVE MUSIC, and a company called FOREVER MUSIC TRUST who operate as 501c not-for-profit corporations have seriously violated the 501c corp. laws…. I also reported this fact many months ago. I myself was subjected to aggravated sexual harassment by Mikey Martin the drummer for SHINY TOY GUNS, as well as from several other studio engineers/producers on the seventh floor of the Film Center Building in New York City back in December/January 2005/2006.

The main reason I think they would have been Bill and Jim is because of this interview where Lizzy says she drives around with Bill and Jim going to 7/11's

I would assume she used these name to protect their privacy, but there's really no one else who would have been friends enough to drive around together with Lana, besides Jimmy Gnecco and Reeve Carney who were also all friends, but there's no claims of Jimmy or Reeve being abusive so that theory sorta falls flat... 

 

Lana allegedly dated both of them in 2006, staying friends with Rob and could maybe explain the song Get Drunk, as well as a couple lyrics in it...
