i didn't really pay attention to their relationship, so im not sure tbh. I know some people on here/in general say Salvatore is about him though. It wouldn't be surprising if the songs you mentioned were about Barrie though. She looked her happiest (at the time) with him, so I can imagine how the break up was pretty hard

first time I read 'Salamander' I immediately thought that it could do with James Franco, and how he tried to sell a book of her 'stories' and who she 'really'  is. & he also tried to make up fake situations and conversations between the two of them.
