Thunder Revenant 20,943 Posted September 2, 2014 I always wonder WHY the hell people use online banking... it's like they just WANT to be robbed. I always wonder WHY the hell girls always wear short skirts... it's like they just WANT to be raped. I always wonder WHY the hell Muslims go into airports... it's like they just WANT to be accused of being a terrorist. Do you realise how stupid you sound now? Yeah, was really stupid that I don't understand why you have to take "nudes" of yourself and put them onto your icloud. I mean, it's totally normal. I often have this situation where I think "oh gosh, why don't I have a nude pic of me right now". Putting them online is such a good idea. And it's even better if you are famous and many people have sweet wet dreams about seeing you nude and if it's not uncommon for celebreties being hacked. Questioning this is really on the same level as racist and misogynic statements, thank you for pointing this out 4 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait! She didn't send them out and have them leak, her iCloud, something extremely private, was hacked. This is a sex crime. You're blaming the victim instead of the person who illegally hacked into everyone's files and stole their personal property.

I did not blame anyone, I just wondered why you would do something like this. like storing nudes at an iCloud. Of course I do think that it's a crime. But I alwys asked myself why people do this nude-stuff in the first place. Or more like, why you would upload this into an iCloud. 1 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait! Trash Magic 28,380 Posted September 2, 2014 You're right, how on earth could somebody be so disgustingly self-obessed and dark minded as to take sinful photos of their own naked bodies! Disgusting! Sexuality is NOT natural and it should be looked down upon at any chance. 9 Quote "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey

Thunder Revenant 20,943 Posted September 2, 2014 Oh my god, it's so funny. I just said that I never understood why you had to take nudes and put them on an iCloud, cause obviously more than just a few people do it. How could I. Now I am defending a crime, equal to misogynists and racists in my opinion and have problems with sexuality. Reasonably reaction at it's finest. Go on ranting about me and my audacity while secretly looking at the leaked pics. You're right, how on earth could somebody be so disgustingly self-obessed and dark minded as to take sinful photos of their own naked bodies! Disgusting! Sexuality is NOT natural and it should be looked down upon at any chance. So, if you want my real opinion, YES I think nude pics are something which is related to being self-obsessed. But ok, everyone can make photos of what they want. I won’t judge them. But WHY THE HECK would you put something that personal on an iCloud? To go back to Moy’s wonderful accurate example of what I sound like, it’s like a young girl dressing in a super short dress. Well, maybe I think it looks slutty. Maybe I won’t. But it’s not my business how she dresses if she feels like walking around like this. And to prevent any stupid wannabe-sexual-freedom-morals NO I don’t think wearing short dresses is slutty. But if a girl, dressed like this, enters a bar located in downtown, well known for having a rather rough customers and the gets sexually harassed, I don’t say “this suits you right, it’s your own fault”. Of course I won’t. But I will think “What the heck did she think about doing that?”. 1 Quote Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!
Mind Melt 10,095 Posted September 2, 2014 A woman shouldn't have to worry about getting sexually harrased for wearing a short dress, she didn't do anything wrong, it would be the harassers fault for trying to force themselves on a woman. And going back to the iCloud thing, it's not like she decided to upload that picture herself, most humans back up their photo library to iCloud so if their phone breaks they can get their pictures back. She shouldn't have to worry about her naked pictures in iCloud because it's private storage, AKA nobody was meant to see it b

Macintosh Manhattan 6,511 Posted September 3, 2014 This is disgusting and an invasion of privacy but there are a few questions.Who ever did this certainly is clever and obviously not an novice at the hacking businesses. The real thing we need to worry about is he capable of hacking into other systems such as online banking/Facebook/Amazon ect Why is he doing this? For notoriety in the hackers circle? For some bizzare Political Reason? Money? Or even more worrying BC he can and he enjoys it? I don't know why I assume its a dude tho lel could be a girl for all we know tbh

Rebel 3,177 Posted September 4, 2014 I honestly don't understand people who are victim blaming. It's disgusting to see them say shit like "if you don't want people to see them don't take them" when first of all I'm sure 70% of the people don't even fucking know what an icloud is or that their pictures were automatically uploaded on the server. It's also disgusting that there are just people saying vile shit when it comes to these poor women whose privacy has been intruded on an extremely awful level. Seriously. Don't victim blame. Think about what you're saying and then think about it more.

LiamViljoen 908 Posted September 6, 2014 I'm all for ganging up on people but honestly I sorta agree with @@Electric Body. Like he said, it's not that I think it's slutty or morally backwards to take a few pics of your boobs or anything, not at all. And I'm sure none of them expected this to happen and feel really sorry for them that it did. But since it has happened, I have to say they were a little stupid for letting anyone get a hold of these pics. I'm not sure who they were intended for, if anyone, but they should have more sense then to just send these out to whoever. Also, you say they probably don't know what an iCloud is. I seriously doubt that, these are for the most part pretty young people that would know how to work an iphone. Secondly, if they didn't know about ICloud or they didn't know how easily someone could leak those pics, they shouldn't have taken em' in the first place. I'm not saying celebrities SHOULD have to worry about these sort of crimes, but unfortunately for them they DO. It's not at all fair that these people have their privacy invaded at this level, but now you're blaming this guy for something he was barely involved in. It was not these people's fault at all, but that doesn't mean it was ok for them to act as though they live in a world where this stuff doesn't happen. They knew the risks they were taking, and now they're victims not just of this crime but of there own foolishness. Still, I hope they'll all be able to get over this blow and continue with their careers as unharmed as possible.
Lirazel 700 Posted September 6, 2014 The media's reaction to this was disgusting... like the Perez Hilton thing. ewww It's not just about those celebrities - I'm pretty sure that the situation could inspire a lot of wankers to post revenge porn of their ex-girlfriends, etc. I'm glad that the case hasn't been left alone. 1 Quote i am nothing and should be everything

You can clearly that all the people that complained right now are the ones that have nudes of themselves or other people stored somewhere. :*looks at several people* Anyway taking nudes is one thing and I don't even find it that bad, I mean you can take photos of whatever bodypart you want if it's your own but uploading them on iCloud is just fucking stupid. I mean you're literally UPLOADING all of your pictures to a service that has proven to be easily acessed, in fact Apple devices and online storages are not good for private stuff of any sort. People should know this by now.
