xcx 2,192 Posted March 28, 2022 How are some of you trying to pass off not liking self-titled as an unpopular opinion when every few days we have pages and pages of people trashing it… The TRUE unpopular opinion is that Next Level Charli, Gone, Cross You Out, and Click is one of the strongest back to back runs on a Charli album. The highlights of the song are Charli belting “no-o no-o no-o-o-o” at the end and her aggression in the “beaches and oceans” part and those are both only in the live version. The live version eats the album version up. I love how in the first 20 seconds or so she seems to be bra shopping and looks very critical at what's in the stores like she's a pretentious art critic like Mr. Fantano. It seems like she had to go to Japan to figure out that braless is the best way to enjoy the sun & that it doesn't matter, because we just need to make fun and let it all hang out. So Mr. Fantano and other art critics can suck it. I love how empowering this video is and this song gives me life. This is what it means to be a Charli XCX fan.
