charli opening her 2017 lollapalooza set with roll with me was so iconic

The set list was perfect.

The Norwich show was nice, I loved the set list and seeing how happy Charli looked, the crowd was just more fun in Berlin. I did find it weird that only 1% of people were singing along to XCXWorld. I guess if it isn’t on Spotify people really don’t know.

pretty much although if she played CTMP I missed it as I got there late by accidentally driving to the wrong venue as I am an idiot

Yeah, she played it third. This is the track order she used:

Before the show

  1. Bounce (2.3 version)

  2. Can You Hear Me

  3. Come To My Party

  4. Down Like Whoa

  5. Girls Night Out (Pete Tong version)

  6. Good Girls

  7. I Wanna Be With U

  8. No Angel (SOPHIE demo)

  9. Die 4

  10. Queen Lizzy

  11. Waterfall

After the show

  • Taxi

(it makes a lot of sense that she would play Taxi separately because it was never intended for the album)

Oh, when you come around again, don't call me
When you're high at 4AM, don't call me
When you think you need a friend, don't call me, oh-oh-oh

When you think you need a friend, don't call me, oh-oh-oh

The way this is basically the most official “final” tracklist we have bskdj. Might just be a random song order but tbh it does make sense as a tracklist. Having Bounce as the opener instead of the obvious choice (CTMP) is very her, the upbeat songs and slower songs are well spread out, GNO and GG next to each other, Taxi being separate (would be a cute closer tbh), etc.

I don’t think that’s intended as an actual tracklist…that’s literally just an alphabetical order with ‘Die 4’ thrown near the end as if it skipped from playing in its actual spot  :toofunny:

I’ve been gradually listening to Charli more and more over the last few months and wow. Her voice and writing is incredibly versatile. It’s actually so crazy to me how her voice is perfect for that electric synth pop rave music of True Romance, but also has the perfect raspy angst for the punk stadium pop of Sucker… while being perfect for the sleek and technological work of her more recent pop and PC influenced projects :O Yeah shes queen of pop
