Thunder Revenant 20,654 Posted April 23, 2015 the lyrics from the snippet sound good but if dan heath fucks up the production like he did with big eyes (mexican trumpets... im still cringing), i'll be so mad. based on the snippet it sounds like this song has a huge chance of it absolutely slaying The trumpets are the best thing about Big Eyes, without them it would have been a superboring song. We don't know how these lyrics fit in with the rest of the song. I LOVE this song so far; can't wait to hear the whole thing. As for Big Eyes and I Can Fly, man, those were gorgeous. I agree, the lyrics weren't the best, but they are amazing songs (to me). This is soothing, magical, and expressive - I love it. She never disappoints. I think the lyric is "Don't you pretend you're not awake" if you listen closely you hear her make the k sound lightly, it makes more sense She definitely makes a k sound - I think you're right. If you listen to the clip, it sounds like there is more music after "this is the end" - and then the trailer cuts to "come on boy, let's go." So I don't think the lyrics will be the way they look now once we hear the whole song. Has anyone seen the movie yet? I'm hoping to see it tomorrow.
