MEMBER OF THE MONTH

 

 

 

AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH... The moderators will nominate 5 amazing forum members for the title. Very little is required for nomination, essentially: don't be an asshole and be an active poster. :3 If you were nominated in one month, you will not be eligible the next month. Repeat nominations may happen over the course of several months, but never consecutively. If you win once, you will not be eligible for nomination for an undetermined amount of time (dependent on # of active forum members and how large the forum grows).

YOU WILL HAVE APPROXIMATELY TWO DAYS TO VOTE... After this time, polls will be closed. If there is a tie between two people, a mod will make a status encouraging people to redirect their vote to one of the two top people if they hadn't originally. We'd like to avoid choosing people ourselves or using a chance method of flipping a coin.

WE WILL SEND THE MotM A LIST OF QUESTIONS ON AFTER THE WINNER IS DETERMINED.... and it will be up to them how quickly they reply. So if you want your time in the spotlight to be nice and long, answer the questions quickly for a full month!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE OR WOULD NOT LIKE TO BE NOMINATED... either PM a moderator or make it explicitly known in one of the MotM threads. Nominations will be considered, although there are no guarantees. Requests to not be nominated will be respected even though we will be side-eying you so hard through my laptop and resisting the urge to create a week where all 5 options are you, but whatever.

 

VOTING WILL STILL TAKE PLACE WHILE THERE IS A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE MONTH TO ENSURE WE HAVE A CONSTANT STREAM OF FABULOUS INTERVIEWS AND INSIGHTS.

 

 

 

MEMBER OF THE MONTH WINNERS WILL BE PM'ED BY A MODERATOR... with a list of questions they can choose from to answer. They can answer as many or as little as they like, a few or all of them. The MotW never has to answer a question they deem too personal/invasive, or even too silly/absurd. This is their month; they can be interviewed as they see fit.

QUESTIONS ARE ALWAYS UNDER CONSTANT REVISION... contributions and ideas are always welcome, no matter how silly or serious! If you have any suggestions or ideas, please submit them HERE.
