Ugh I'm so underwhelmed, MTWBT had me expecting something greater than what was delivered (That chorus was heavenly).

MTWBT is not watch i expected but its nice. but why does she sound so emotionless this era? there's only emotion in TLY - she sounds bored/dead in the other tracks.

TLY > HBTB > MTWBT > Honeymoon. I always look forward to Lana's bridges as they are usually climatic and emotional hence why TLY and HBTB are my favs right now. For some reason I thought this song would be more pop or commercial but I was wrong, I like the chorus. No song has struck me yet like TIWMUG, WY, SS, UV or OM.

This album is fast shaping to be a very interesting atmosphere, I feel like it'll be so fascinating when all put together for the first time!

 

MTWBT is definitely tied with TLY for my top spot right now tbh!

 

I imagine like neon signs at night by the beach, or maybe by a lagoon in the swamp, somewhere hot and humid where the air is heavy and it just feels like something dark is either going to happen or has just happened?

But yeah, that single cover absolutely encapsulates the atmosphere for me
