The first page of comments for me were people asking if people wanted to be in group chats / porn bots, the bar is on the floor for Instagram comments even when it's clear why someone's posting something

srsly, y'all need to learn how to Investigate & see that she tagged the girl in the photo.. to which upon clicking on, takes you immediately to the girls page, revealing who the photo was about... are y'all in middle school? cmon... stop complaining about not being force fed the information.

Someone took their own life, so it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that Lana is upset and thats why she didn't add a caption. 

 

I know what it is like to struggle with mental health and I have struggled with suicidal feelings in the past. 

 

This is the brother of one of Lana's friends, so to fault Lana (because everything Lana says and does gets criticized on here for some dumbass reasons) when she is probably upset is just wrong. She has the right to be upset. Suicide is upsetting and disturbing. I know this because I once tried to take my own life. 

 

She is paying tribute to a young life which has been tragically lost. Now is not the time to be bugging her about her next album. The album will come when it does. Someone took their own life and that is a tragedy and Lana has the right to be upset.

The majority of her 16m followers aren't going to care enough to "investigate". It's not a treasure hunt, especially considering the situation.

The problem is that people are stupid and often entitled a-holes as well. I know that the majority of Lana’s fans don’t behave this way. Sometimes I wonder if she should call out the fans who are out of control and tell them to cut it out. Stan culture is out of control.

The vast majority of people on this thread had no idea who the people in the picture were before she posted that - I find it highly weird and frankly inappropriate that people are using both the very sad death and Lana's tribute post to preemptively justify COTCC being delayed. No one is saying that people should ask for the album in the comments. That would be weird and careless. But I think it's equally inappropriate to start guessing at her state of mind and assume that she's going to delay the album. If it's delayed it's delayed, using a tribute post to start guessing at COTCC isn't the best look.

Lana paying tribute to a grieving family shows how normal Lana is. Users badgering her about her album says more about them than it does about Lana. People don’t know how to stay on topic.
