"There was a lightning storm rapidly approaching they told me 1 second before I got on stage I couldn't go. My tour manager, he's not a big guy, he locked me in my room while he stood against the door and I threw plates at him. I've never thrown anything at anyone? I can't say that, I threw one thing at a longterm boyfriend. It was not heavy. But I threw plates at Pete my tour manager of 13 years because it's so important for me to go out there and tell them I'm not going to be able to go out. But he told me that would create hysteria. That was one of my craziest moments. We didn't talk for my whole tour after that.
