This definitely sounds in the same vein as K-12, and I'm still not super into any of it. Like it's not the worst thing ever, but it feels like we've been in the same era for five years.

It's not completely different from K-12 (mainly because it's a continuation EP lol), but most of it still is pretty different compared to it, it seems more lyrically grown and more personal to her rather than her character Cry Baby. So I don't get where you're coming from

this is waaaaay better than k-12 :oprah3: i think i like these songs better because they're more personal and theme-wise much more interesting

i appreciate her putting 7 completely new tracks instead of dragging out fire drill and copy cat

i love you, but you don't understand me.

Nah, the production in the songs def differs throughout the EP.

i really think she should be more personal and generic in her albums, after school ep shows how her songs are better when she doesn't talk about a specific story line or topic. kinda like cry baby, it was way more generic (in themes) and less specific.

come to my house let's die together, friendships that would last forever

lyrics: her best project lyrically

production: terrible, they all sound like cheap Melanie Martinez Type Beats on Youtube

melodies: forgettable and bland???

i mean it's not bad it's experimental but it's def not as instant as K-12 imo

omg I love this After School outtake!

i've listened 3 times now and i think numbers is my favorite.. notebook is the weakest

it makes sense fire drill and copy cat didn't make the cut they really don't fit the more experimental route she took and thank god for that i thought all the songs would be of that quality

lyrically it's her strongest like i'm actually impressed
