Edit: Nvm lmao. She said "12 hours" only to release a teaser today, and the actual video is coming in 15 days. Kind of a messy release.  On the other hand, it definitely sounds like Melanie was involved with the writing, so there's that.

I actually really liked Build A Bitch but thought the post chorus beat on Inferno was bad. I'll have to hear the full song to see if I like it on Dolls but I do wish she'd switch it up.

it really is one of Melanie's best songs

tho i have tried to stay away from listening to the leaks for as long as i can until the album comes out (or at least the tracklist comes out) just so i can keep things as fresh as possible

 Same here. I was feeling down and wanted something to give me energy and felt like listening to it and damn it's so mesmerizing and definitely her best song ever. Now i just need confirmation if it's on the tracklist or not so i can listen to it again...

On another note, I keep thinking about how well Fingers Crossed was produced. The opening instrumentals are especially nice, and Melanie's vocals on that track are some of the best she's ever recorded. It fit her range perfectly and she really carried the instrumental on that one, IMO.

 

I hope we at least get some version of it on the new album.

It's truly beautiful. If Death, Needle & Thread and Fingers Crossed are not on the album Imma riot  probably my favourite three of the sessions we've heard.
