It is awkward for where it is in the line, but I am assuming it is intentional. Just basing that on how Atmosphere did the same thing with his song "Molly Cool" where he purposely omitted cuss words from the recording, but they are in the lyrics, and the rest of the album is explicit. I think it's intentionally meant to be a "read between the lines" kind of lyric.

Nowels said that it was a solo song (actually one of the first songs written for the era) and then Lana decided to bring in Rocky. I mean, the solo demo may exist somewhere but I don't really think we're getting that.
