idk why but cherry never really belonged to lfl in my mind, is it just me? i mean i always forget about it not because its bad or basic, Just because i dont attach it to no album, its very different song from everything shes done but at the same time very lanaish... its Just a real mystery of a song for me

Tbh I always thought Cherry seemed odd when compared to the rest of LFL. It’s the only song she’s done with Tim Larcombe as a writing/production credit since 2012 I think? That we know of? I’ve wondered if it’s an older song she repurposed like Beautiful People. Would any insiders be able to weigh in here?

this album is so perfect to me besides in my feelings and coachella looking back, it has the start of the perfect balance between “old lana” and present day lana. it has the slightest bit of “matter of fact” writing but still has the beautiful imagery, mystery, and cinematic production  i will cherish this album forever. its not appreciated enough
