I know about the chemosphere!!! I love it! And yes I looked up the Schwimmer House and that's the one used for the WM video! Does Lana live there?? I love both houses, I'd die of happiness to live in either one hahaha

It's just so hard. I try to enjoy the climax beat drop in the chorus & am reminded of the absurd fade-in fade-out transition effect they used in the video at that specific time. It just doesn't fit in & ruins the vision for me. They should have just left it untouched & pure the way it was.

 

Anyway, I'm focusing on different tracks of the album (which I'm glad she didn't ask Rich Lee to make a video of!). I didn't notice I've been skipping WM until this thread popped up on the top. I used to listen to it so often before the vid was released.

On the other hand, White Mustang is clearly her favorite song as she has been posting several snippets of her singing to it - there are 4 that I know

Plus, she sings the song live on her performances

and plus, she has said several times it's her favorite song

 

 

She said that Heroin and Summer Bummer are her favorite songs from the record. But given the facts, it does look like WM is actually her favorite lmao

In her interview released today with MTV, she said she loves “architecture” and made sure to make that present in the White Mustang video. Perhaps another hint that the video was in fact originally for Best American Record/Architecture?
