Lana Del Rey and Gerard Butler got early preview of JAY-Z's album

 

Singer Lana Del Rey and actor Gerard Butler were among the privileged few invited to join JAY-Z for a special album listening party weeks before the release of 4:44.

"So I go down the hall and I'm in this big recording space and there's, like, 15 people in there: Jay, Lana Del Rey, (basketball star) Chris Paul, Jessie Williams, Gerard Butler. It was a really diverse crew, I'm not sure what's happening!"

The special get-together was filmed for the rap mogul's Footnotes companion video series, in which various stars discuss the themes addressed on the album.
