Oh I love this. I could write an endless list but the first one that popped into my mind is the small guitar riff (?) that starts appearing in parts of the song just after the start of the second chorus of Heroin (2:39)

Ouuu heroin is such a luscious ass song. I especially love the way she sings so out of tune and frayed by the end, and all those crazy harmonies. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t my fav song from LFL era

  3. the kids in bel air

the crickets in god knows i tried

the owl in come with me

the ambience over literally all of BTD's songs

the airplane com/radio feedback in Is This Happiness
Something so punchy about the verses of OTTR

the very subtle harpsichord/piano thing similar to fine china in IDWG (when she's saying he got away)

the cut at the end of the superior hollywood's dead demo, and the radio sounding bridge

the pitch-slide intro to meet me in the pale moonlight never fails to get me to shake me arse

there's a ton more but i just love when there are random sounds in her music, it really helps set a tone. and i love when she utilizes more out-dated instruments/equipment

Yall are not going to like my (conflicting) thoughts on this but I don’t care.

I feel bad for Tzef, it’s clear that she’s still traumatized and upset about the entire situation, I mean who wouldn’t be. You can tell there’s still a lot of unresolved sadness and anger on her end.

There’s clearly some truth to some of what she’s writing… at least about the drug addiction. If the domestic violence she details is true, which we’ll never know, then she deserves to at least tell her story.

Do I think she’s going to resolve whatever trauma she has properly with this article? No. Do I think it’s respectful of Sophie’s legacy? Not really.

However I’m not going to be delusional and conclude she’s lying about everything a la this thread and the Sophie subreddit. It’s clear Sophie was a complex individual, hearing her talk about gender and transitioning - it honestly wouldn’t shock me if part of the rationale behind her transition was for the performance art of it all.

It’s actually disgusting to see people like Babynymph post tirades against Tzef calling her a liar when Sophie literally accidentally passed away while living with that druggie, hot mess, irresponsible group in Athens. And no, she didn’t die trying to take a picture of the full moon.

Why do you guys think some of SOPHIE’s closest collaborators still follow Tzef? It’s clear there’s some truth to what she shared in the article.

And at the same time, apart of me feels this is very disrespectful and cruel on Tzef’s end, feels like an attempt to besmirch Sophie’s legacy.

I’m not sure how to feel about it all honestly. The ENTIRE situation is absolutely tragic and still makes me so upset. If anything is clear it’s that Sophie only had enablers surrounding her, which is extremely sad.

I have lots of conflicting feelings about it too, but the biggest one I feel is just like this weird second hand disrespect. I also think the constant dangling of the “evidence” and all that is just plain evil. Numerous times the article says “of which the full recordings still exist” and what not. It’s just strange and sad the whole situation.

  5. I don’t think every piece of what Tzef said was untrue. I don’t think SOPHIE was perfect, but attempting to tarnish what has become a genuine cultural pillar for people like us with accusations of Malice, especially when no defense can be made, just disgusts me. I sympathize with her and the pain of losing/fighting with a loved one, but to try and prop yourself up in the position to be some sort of “replacement” is just disgusting. The entire article has this  heir of “well this was all by my design, and I guess I didn’t do enough” and it’s just farce. She did all she could do , and SOPHIE felt called to moved on.

wasn't tzef also the reason why sophie never released transnation because she was involved in it or some shit.....

Literally every schizo metaphor in that article can be alluded to Tzef being musically challenged. I mean- how is she to know TransNation was SOPHIE’s take on an old dance track called HouseNation? She wasn’t making the music. There was a part in the article where Tzef talks about picking up SOPHIE from rehab and then they immediately go on a bender together- something something common denominators and all that… tzef.

but regardless, none of this needed be shared. It’s disgusting. I was lowkey thinking all day yesterday about how disrespectful this is.

  7. Another day another person who was not close with SOPHIE around time of her death utilizing her name for clicks and attention. Not music. No tribute. Just bullshit. That woman tzef is a shit stain on SOPHIE’s ethos.

I don't think there's a fuglier case of Demo outselling the final product harder than Every Man Get His Wish. Maybe GoGo Dancer V2 but... God the first one... jail. The overproduced mess trying to push it into a funky-almost-disco territory. What the actual fuck. The christmas flavor... disgusting.

    You can whistle for it:trisha:

  9. i think its funny certain users ignore what everyone is saying just to continue to spew the same stale talking points. You cry like this, like the Jewish identity is exclusively tied to the existence of Israel. Literally 99.9% of the people in this thread have stated they understand the difference between Judaism and Zionism. The latter of which limits the two's ability to co-exist together in the same region equally.

Something certain ppl still seem to be having trouble wrapping their brains around!

  10. Blue banisters title track also feels like Fingertips sister song idk how to explain, but yeah it feels like the material she actually DID make for BB was just ocean boulevard in its early stages + some outtakes.

in my mind I pretty much see COTCC/BB era as her idea of getting out the “unreleased songs” :eek4: so my hopes we’ll get an actual collection of released music anytime soon is very low.

  11. I still really want Cherry :trisha3:

but I think Radio/CortisaCollab would be the most logical second single
