it's a grower for sure, i was really disappointed at first and there's some messy moments lyrically/melodically but after a few listens and some adjusted expectations i love it. i'm relieved i came around because i've been hoping for a 2009/2010 electropop myspace demos album from her for years and i needed this to round out my holy trinity of true romance and number 1 angel. the lack of features is great. i think my main issue was with the sequencing, it was very jarring but i moved a few songs around and it's a much more cohesive listen

Mean girls just pissed me off…tbh I’ve had enough of AG for a while, and I never thought I’d say that as a fan of PC Music since the soundcloud days. His production is just starting to get stale and he’s gone TOO far adding that nasty plinky piano to a Charli club album. Next album I want George and Easyfun alone

When she said she was going minimalist I thought she meant in a Rosalia or Sophie kind of good quality minimalist. Most of the tracks sound underproduced with really bad mixing. Like idk it sounds like some of the songs don't have same quality, club classics sounding good then sympathy being leaked demo core.. The album feels like a either a bunch of leaks put together or overall low budget album. Probably gonna grow on me though.. Sorry for my bad vibes as some of yall probly having a blast rn!!!

Mean girls is the most slaughtered song in the album i grew too attached to the boiler room vocals and beat and all, ig it's my fault..
now it sounds like a Kim Petras song, and it just sounds aged
the rest is really good tho sans i think about it all the time, that song is just plain out trash
