Full uncropped high-res image used for the Pang single artwork (courtesy of the production designer’s website). I believe it’s the only Pang photo that hasn’t been released in high quality. If you remember, it appeared on the first vinyl poster reveal shared by Caroline.

This seems to be the pre-edit image as Timothy Luke’s energy ball hasn’t been finalised. It also looks like they haven’t finished editing the top sides of her hair. Still, it’s good to finally have in HQ.

happy birthday to the best album of all time, which shaped who i am today. cruel world, shades of cool, and west coast are among my absolute favourite lana songs ever

the track run of cruel world to sad girl is perhaps the greatest placement of perfect tracks together consecutively. brooklyn baby was one of the first lana songs i loved and it takes me back to such a specific time.

i channel this album every time i wear a leather jacket, a white v-neck, that specific bracelet, and it provided me with a space to feel grungy and glamorous, and has been the soundtrack to much of my life

shades of cool is my favourite song of all time and this body of work is one of a kind ♡

It's so weird for me because I see HM as an extension of UV in my head (despite a year difference and being different albums) but there's a duology to the two albums and I see them as two halves to one piece. I guess I don't really mean to say much about that, but man, do I love UV.

The way this album sounds played from vinyl is sooooo special holy shit. If you've never heard it that way, get a record player, buy the vinyl, and get good speakers. You hear it totally differently imo.

11 years.... which means I've been a Lana cult member/stan for what has to be 12-13 years because Tropico and Paradise was coming out when I first found her music. It feels like yesterday when UV leaked and I was so unsure what to think - it was different from the songs that had leaked, the untouchables, BTD and Paradise, I hated it at first. There was that uncertainty that we'd even get another Lana album when leaks happened, she threatened that she'd stop making music or she wanted to after feeling like she'd lost some sort of privacy (which is absolutely fair enough.)

If anyone's curious I also want to share my playlist of how my UV Deluxe is set up since Lana won't make one herself and I really like the placement of the tracks this way listening all the way through. I did include the untouchable 5 here, I feel they belong here alongside the rest of the record. I also included that Melancholia / UV demo (that we've been told was Melancholia but also we were told it isn't actually called that, that Melancholia is a different song?? i'm still unsure about that one but the angry UV version is what I have called Melancholia in my library) and Untouchable just because they're good and deserve to be heard

Anyway, UV, thank you for existing and being the record that got me through high school and some of the hardest times of my life and the soundtrack to the biggest changes I've had in my life. Lana releasing this album when she did was the right time for me and it hits so different from anything else I've ever heard, with the exceptions of OB and HM, both being for very specific reasons of their own. <3
11 long fucking years. ugh. i feel old.

This album is like the Pandora’s Box of the human experience.

I’ll be forever indebted to the angel that Lana channeled for those years. I hope she realizes how much of an impact on the world this record has. I can thank this album for my interest in music history… in history in general. For my ability to find majesty in misery. For everything I set on ablaze, to every bridge I end up burning. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GEN Z BIBLE

Heres some songs that were never written with this album in mind that I still think exist in this little space carved out in the universe for her story <3

people talk about her right now the EXACT same way they did lana in 2013/14 that i remember. i know a lot of people feel like this album is mid and whatever- it could just be my interpretation of everything but i truly see what she means when she says it’s insanely personal because so much of it hits close to home for me? idk i could just be dramatic but i really resonate with the entire album really lol

im very happy to be here and be experiencing a debut like this. i haven’t felt this way in a really long time about an album

album so fucking good I had to ride it  it really feels like a study of pop music and everything that makes it so incredible like I love a lil pastiche and its very early Lana in how unabashedly referential she is especially as an influencer turned artisté, you consume so much art from the greats why wouldn't you want to channel it into your own work and give your own personal perspective and take on these sounds????  In The Rain my immediate favorite Money is Everything being her Charli moment I fucking liveeeee all the songs are great and definitely live up to the singles hype my only complaint is now I want so much moreeeee  the first and last album by Addison Rae keeps popping in my mind it would honestly be sickening if she completely dropped music and moved on but we'd also be missing out on a true visionary her and Luka and Elvira are a magical team together im perched for whatever all three of them are involved in next
