A once discussed meme that originated here has now made it to Reddit…..

Hmm yes I see your point. Truthfully I’ve always had a disdain for The Grammy’s because I truthfully DO want them to actually mean something for the good of music and the culture. There’s a lot of tainted history there for sure. And questionable practices in how artists are even nominated or awarded at the very least… And maybe it’s too late and the cat’s out of the bag… that could be, but I just hope to see the industry improve… I know Charli is very opinionated and has her own view and way of doing things, against the grain and whatnot… she’s very much coming from a place of her personal beliefs and convictions… and because of that, I guess I just see it as a net positive that they’ve even acknowledged her at this point… …IF it’s truly about the music, like it’s supposed to be. It shouldn’t be about bending to the industry, or the internal politics of it, or questionable culture and practices that go on, and who’s buddy buddy with who… I guess that’s more where I’m coming from, trying to come from a more optimistic and non-controversial place.

I think we were all collectively having way too much fun in 2019..…

Yeah it would (or will) be fine… just will forever be hard to top the experimental-leaning pop/PC Music era. We’ve been spoiled for too long. Truthfully, I feel like Charli and a few other artists in the last few years have kind of ruined music for me anyway lol so it just is what it is. It’s probably not going to blow any minds, but that’s alright.
